Overview
Not sure what to build first? Here are starter prompts you can type (or copy/paste) directly into the Cora chat. Each one kicks off the agent builder. Cora will ask clarifying questions, check your connected integrations, and handle the setup for you.
You don't need to get every detail right upfront. Just start with one of these and let Cora guide you through the rest.
For background on how agents work, see Understanding Agents. For a step-by-step building walkthrough, see Building Your First Agent.
Portfolio Risk Summary
"Every Monday at 9am Eastern, send a summary of at-risk accounts to #cs-alerts in Slack."
Sets up a recurring digest of accounts that need attention, delivered to your team on a schedule.
Cora may ask you about: which Slack channel or email to send to, what timezone, which accounts to include (e.g. a specific segment or all accounts), and how often to run it.
Renewal Risk Outreach
"When a renewal risk is detected, draft an outreach email to the customer and send it to me for approval before it goes out."
Creates an event-driven agent that reacts to renewal risk signals and drafts personalized outreach for your review.
Cora may ask you about: which signal or lifecycle event to trigger on, whether to send to the account owner or a specific person, and what autonomy level you want (draft with approval vs. fully autonomous).
Customer Call Prep
"Build me an agent I can run before customer calls to generate a briefing with recent activity, health trends, and open risks."
Creates an on-demand agent you trigger manually whenever you need a quick account briefing.
Cora may ask you about: what data to include (health scores, recent signals, usage metrics), where to deliver the briefing (chat, email, Slack), and whether to target a specific account each time.
Onboarding Progress Check
"Every Wednesday, check for onboarding accounts that have stalled and post a summary to #onboarding-team in Slack."
Sets up a weekly check that flags accounts stuck in onboarding so your team can follow up.
Cora may ask you about: how you define "stalled" (days inactive, missing milestones), which Slack channel to post to, and what details to include for each account.
Competitor Mention Alert
"When a competitor mention is detected in a customer conversation, alert the account owner in Slack with the details."
Creates a real-time alert that notifies the right person when a competitive signal surfaces.
Cora may ask you about: which signal or lifecycle event to watch for, whether to notify the account owner or a specific channel, and whether to include conversation context in the alert.
Weekly Executive Rollup
"Every Friday at 4pm Eastern, email me a summary of the week's key account activity: new risks, escalations, and wins."
Generates a high-level end-of-week briefing for leadership or cross-functional stakeholders.
Cora may ask you about: which categories to include (risks, wins, escalations, deal activity), whether to send via email or Slack, and whether to filter to a specific segment or region.
Stakeholder Change Follow-Up
"When a champion or key stakeholder leaves an account, notify the account owner and draft talking points for the new contact."
Reacts to stakeholder changes with both an internal alert and a drafted action plan.
Cora may ask you about: which stakeholder change signal to trigger on, how to deliver the notification (Slack, email), and what level of autonomy to use for the drafted outreach.
Tips for Writing Your Own Prompts
These examples are just starting points. You can describe any workflow in your own words. Cora will fill in the gaps. A few tips:
Be specific about the output: say where you want it delivered (Slack channel, email) and what it should include.
Include a schedule or trigger: "every Monday at 9am" or "when a renewal risk is detected" gives Cora what it needs.
Start simple: a weekly Slack digest or an internal alert is a great first agent. You can always add complexity later.
Don't worry about prerequisites: if an integration or signal isn't set up yet, Cora will let you know and help you configure it.
