What Cora.ai Accesses
Once connected, Cora.ai syncs the following from Gong:
Calls — Call metadata, participants, topics, trackers, outcomes, highlights, and interaction stats
Transcripts — Full call transcripts with speaker attribution
Users — Gong user profiles for mapping calls to your team
Access is read-only. Cora.ai does not modify any data in Gong.
How the Sync Works
Cora uses scheduled API polling to keep your Gong data in sync. Here's what that means:
Gong REST API — Cora periodically queries the Gong API to pull the latest call data and transcripts. No webhooks or triggers are involved.
Nothing installed in Gong — No packages, plugins, or configuration changes are made in your Gong instance. All processing happens on Cora's infrastructure.
Change detection on our side — Cora tracks which calls have already been synced and only fetches new or updated records.
Initial sync — On first connection, Cora imports approximately the last 30 days of call data.
Troubleshooting
Having trouble with Signals? See the Signals FAQ for common questions about why Signals may not appear, sync timing, and how call-to-account matching works.
Disconnecting
To disconnect Gong:
Open the Gong integration card in Cora
Click Disconnect
Confirm the disconnection
Disconnecting stops all data syncing.
