Integrating with HubSpot

Connect HubSpot to Cora.ai for CRM data access, customer insights, and lifecycle event tracking.

Overview

The HubSpot integration gives Cora.ai access to your CRM data — companies, contacts, deals, tickets, and ownership information — so it can surface insights, track lifecycle events, and keep your team informed.

Integration Type: OAuth 2.0, Organization-Level
Setup Time: ~2 minutes
Required Role: HubSpot Super Admin or App Marketplace Access

Prerequisites

  • An active HubSpot account (any Hub)

  • Super Admin permissions or App Marketplace Access in HubSpot

  • Organization administrator access in Cora.ai

Setup Steps

Step 1: Initiate Connection

  1. Log into Cora.ai as an organization administrator

  2. Navigate to SettingsOrganization SettingsIntegrations

  3. Locate the HubSpot integration card

  4. Click the Connect button

Step 2: Authorize in HubSpot

  2. Select the HubSpot account you want to connect

Step 3: Confirm Connection

  2. Under Lifecycle Events, toggle the switch on

  3. Click Save

What Cora.ai Accesses

Once connected, Cora.ai syncs the following HubSpot objects:

  • Companies — Organization records and associated properties

  • Contacts — People associated with companies and deals

  • Deals — Pipeline and revenue data

  • Tickets — Support and service records

  • Owners — Team members assigned to records

Access is scoped to the permissions of the HubSpot account that authorized the connection. During setup, HubSpot will show that Cora.ai is requesting both read and write permissions. Cora.ai reads your CRM data on a scheduled basis to keep insights current. Write-back (such as updating records in HubSpot) only occurs when agents are explicitly configured for that purpose — it will never happen without your knowledge. If write-back is enabled for your organization, your Cora.ai contact will walk through the specifics and provide observability for any changes made.

Importing Companies and Ownership Sync

Once HubSpot is connected, you can import companies, set up ownership sync, and filter by ownership on the Accounts page. See Managing Your Accounts for setup instructions.

Disconnecting

To disconnect HubSpot:

  1. Open the HubSpot integration card

  2. Click Disconnect

  3. Confirm the disconnection

Disconnecting stops all data syncing. Previously synced data will remain available until it is manually removed.
